Orton Academy: Guitar and Voice Club

Service Description

🎸🎤 Guitar & Voice Club In this club, students learn to strum some chords on the guitar, sing, or do both at the same time. We explore the basics of guitar playing - chords, strumming patterns, and rhythm. If you're a singer, vocal skills like pitch, tone, and stage presence will be explored to the fullest. Students will practice playing, singing, or both at the same time. They will work together on a group song for the final performance. By the end of the session, kids will have the skills to perform with confidence, and discover the fun of making music as either a guitarist or vocalist (or both)!! Class is every Tuesday from 3:45pm - 4:45pm at Orton Below is the schedule ~ September - 9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30 October - 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 November - 11/4, 11/11, 11/18 December - 12/2, 12/9, 12/16 Final Performance: December 16th 4:45pm at Orton (after class that day)
